Do you know a child in grades 5-8 who loves taking pictures? Check out a new class I'm offering where students will learn how to use their camera (any camera, even a phone) as well as composition, lighting, editing, and how to prepare files for print. They will also receive four 5x7 prints of their favorite images they have taken and edited. The class includes four 1.5 hour sessions in my Grandville home studio and cost is $60/student.
Please share this post with your friends and family and ask them to fill out the form below if interested. This will help me know best class times to offer. The first session will take place in January with the potential for the addition of more advanced classes moving forward.
I have always been the photographer in my family and have collected all my family pictures dating back to the 1800's. When I was in elementary school, I received my first camera and I was hooked. This would make a great Christmas gift for your aspiring photographer!
Alexandria & Ryan
I had the honor of photographing my nieces 1920's themed wedding to end out the year 2017. While I usually edit in a light and airy kind of feel, I decided to try matching the theme with dark moody and vintage. It was kind of fun to try something different even though I kept the light and airy too.
We started at the A Davis Brown Salon where Allie and the girls got all dolled up. Next stop..Hampton Inn & Suites downtown Grand Rapids. Allie put on her dress, shoes, and jewelry then her parents walked her to the lobby where she met Ryan for first look pictures. Everyone boarded the limo and went to her parents new building on Monroe for group pictures then headed to the Revel Center for the ceremony. The isle on either side had candles and a beautiful chandelier hung down the center. So so pretty! After a champagne fountain and toast we headed to our final stop, Studio D2D. Alexandria's family (my sister and brother-in-law) own Catered Creations Inc. and they had the venue decorated in black and gold with feathers and beads and all things 1920's. The presentation of the food was so elegant and of course the taste was fabulous! Such a beautiful day. Congratulations Ryan and Allie.
Cheers to a life filled with love, patience, kindness, and most of all faith.
John 15:12 "My command is this:Love each other as I have loved you."
